Courtney-Thorne are excited to announce they will be launching their next generation nurse call system at the Bournemouth Care Show on the 27th-28th March. The official press release detailing the developments will be made available closer to the show but there is expected to be substantial interest from within the industry. Given the signifigance of the announcement Courtney-Thorne in Partnership with Samsung UK will be hosting the following seminar:

Scottish office now open

Courtney Thorne are delighted to announce the opening of our new Scottish Offices. The new location will provide local sales contact and service support for our growing number of Scottish customers and clearly demonstrates our commitment to care providers based in Scotland.

As well as independent homes across the country, we have a growing presence in the NHS sector and we will be presenting our latest Courtney Thorne solutions at the Health Facilities Scotland Conference at Crieff Hydro in November.

Our dedication to homes caring for dementia sufferers continues through links with the Iris Murdoch Centre at Stirling University and a growing range of premier products. The new office also enhances our ability to deliver an exceptional service to customers in Scotland, for example, we are now developing a unique nursecall solution for a dementia care home in one of Scotland’s largest local authorities.

In designing individual, made-to-measure solutions to help independent homes, care home groups, hospices, hospitals and public sector care homes, we continue to offer the best combination of system and value.

IFHE Membership Approved

In addition to the recent membership of the Institute of Health Engineering and Estates Management, Courntey-Thorne are pleased to also be accepted by the International Federation of Hospital Engineering. Certification has been awarded due to activities supplying, installing and maintaining Courtney-Thorne wireless nurse call systems to Europe and the rest of the world.

Courtney-Thorne has recently become a member of the Institute of Health Engineering and Estates Management. Certification has been awarded due to activities supplying, installing and maintaining Courtney-Thorne wireless nurse call systems across NHS Trusts throughout the UK.

CT-TOUCH - Launched

In January 2009 Courtney-Thorne launched the first touchscreen display panel into the wireless nurse call system market. As a result of its overwhelming success Courtney-Thorne's R&D department have developed the next generation touchscreen product called CT-TOUCH.

Building on features developed for the first version, CT-TOUCH boasts the following improvements over it predecessor; slimmer, faster, lighter, reduced power consumption. Being fully "IP" enabled means it simply integrates with 3rd party systems such as VOIP telephony systems and paging systems. The latest hardware and software technologies were utilised in its design allowing for a roadmap of new products and services which will subsequently be released by Courtney-Thorne.
